Hello, my name is Billy Hurst and I am the Owner of Front Row Photo. My love of sports came at an early age. I played baseball and basketball as I was growing up but eventually focused on baseball and football once I reached middle school and all the way through high school. Once I realized I would not play competitively at the next level, I started to get involved in photography.

I started working at a local photo lab so I could learn the business side of photography, as well as having the opportunity to create in a darkroom and studio environment. I soaked up all the knowledge I could take in over the next few years and began shooting sports and action photography in the summer of 1993. Anyone who knows me will tell you that music is in my blood, bones, and soul, so it was only natural that I began shooting music and concert photography as well. Over the next couple of years I shot every concert that came through town. I worked on assignment for local papers, as well as national magazines. I had several photos published in newsprint, magazines, tour books and album covers. I still shoot the occasional concert and promotional shots for artists and bands, as well as CD cover shoots.
